Joseph is an Actor, Performer, Theatre-maker and Producer, a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community from a working class background (Tooting born/Croydon raised) now based between Leeds and London.

 

Since training at East15 Acting School Joseph has worked in Theatre (Devised, Site Specific & Immersive), Film and Performance Art, taking him all over the UK and Europe. 

 

He has a fondness for highly visual, playful and formally inventive theatre and is hugely passionate about the benefit theatre and the arts can have on communities.

Joseph is currently back on stage with a UK wide tour of Just Between Ourselves by Alan Ayckbourn having spent the past few years juggling between performing and expanding his skills as a producer with a variety comanies and theatre-makers including Animikii (The Kaspar Hauser Experiment), Wrongsemble (Three Little Vikings, Tinsel, Breadcrumbs, A Town Called Christmas, The Not So Big Bad Wolf, The Snow Queen), Claire Gaydon (Piece Of Me), Archipelago Arts (Mother Of The Revolution) after a successfull Arts Council D.Y.C.P fund to facilitate his move into this field.  

 

Joseph spent 2020/21 collaborating in online 'lockdown' projects such as 'Passing' which he gratefully recieved ACE funding to produce and Just Some Theatre's New Writing 'Forward Diologue' project directed by Nick Bagnall. Regular zoom performed play-readings with A Monkey With Cymbals Theatre have been a staple of 2020 having rehearsed throughout early March for a production at Waterloo East Theatre that had to close (On opening night) due to the Coronavirus restrictions.

 

2019 saw Joseph performing a rehearsed reading of the unmade Hammer Horror Film; 'Vampirella' at The Regent Street Cinema and work-in-progress piece 'Cheaper By The Hour' by Matthew Baldwin at AboveTheStag  as well as across England touring with Paul Taylor Mills' Summer Rep Company playing the lead in both 'Butterflies Are Free'  & 'Double Death' and Roland Maule in Noel Cowards' 'Present 'Laughter'
