JOSEPH CLOWSER

"In his portrayal of the immensely likeable central character... is an outstanding performance of humour, vulnerability and resolve. In the first Act, there are just two characters, Don and his new, free-spirited young neighbour, Jill Tanner. Maisie Young is equally engaging and accomplished in the role – a beautifully judged performance; the chemistry the two actors achieve is a triumph.

A theatrical gem and two central performances which are about as good as you will get on any stage in the country"

“The relationship development between Mary and Joss' suspicious brother Jem Merlyn (Joseph Clowser), leaves you longing for Mary's safety as she finds herself alone on the moors...The quality of performances from actors such as Christopher Lyne and Joseph Clowser emphasised Cooper's difficulty.

a must-see for those thrilled by horror and suspense."

“Strong performances from Megan Cooper as Mary, Hilary Harwood as Aunt Patience and Christopher Lyne (Joss), Joseph Clowser (Jem) and Jonathan Ray (Francis)... there was a sense of authenticity and we were cast back to a different era.”

“Joseph Clowser offers the audience a masterful cameo as the wide-eyed, rather odd fan, Roland Maule – all wide-smiling and fidgety – wonderful.
Coward performed badly is tortuous – performed well it is to witness real talent at work. This was very well performed!"

"At the entrance to this year's edition of Frieze London a street vendor stands selling souvenirs and bags. Another is walking around the fair, upon his back is a an advertising hoarding, "where we're going we don't need roads" it reads. A woman dressed in a Pikachu onesie is handing out flyers. These living sculptures are the work of Lloyd Corporation and they are magnificent."
